Michael is a Member of the National Association of Toastmasters and has officiated at functions all over London and the South East of England, as well as the United States of America.

His past careers in aviation and shipping have taken him to all corners of the globe. In his flying career he operated on all commercial world routes and also on royal and inaugural flights to the highest international standards.

He is an accomplished after dinner speaker and is currently researching a Master of Philosophy Degree in Contemporary History, at Canterbury Christchurch University.
